Jake Reinvented

  1. 1. Jake, Reinvented
  2. 2. Rick Paradis Protagonist, in his point of view. Kicker on High School football team. Best friends with the Quarterback of team, Todd. People see him as Jake, the cool guy's, best friend. Best friends with Jennifer. He helps people, like helping Jake when he needed to clean the house after a huge party before his dad got home. Doesn't drink like every other person at a party at Jake's does. Normally keeps to himself and just observes others.
  3. 3. Rick continued Has been friends with Jennifer since they were kids. Been in love with Jennifer since at least two years, went on first date in sophomore year but she ditched him for Todd.
  4. 4. Jake Garrett Throws amazing parties every Friday. On the football team as long-snapper. Begged the coach to put him on the team as something, no matter what. He isn't that good at sports. In all accelerated classes. Everybody knows him.  Has a past history with Didi.  Seems to have a lot of money. Does side jobs to pay for parties. Has expensive taste in clothing.
  5. 5. Jake continued Was Didi's math tutor. Fell in love with her and did everything for her. Is smart, so he writes college papers for college students to pay for the things he wants. Like clothing and for parties.
  6. 6. Todd Buckley Quarterback on High School football team. Seen as the hero in school, gets along with everyone. Dating Didi, but cheats on her with Melissa. Very self-obsessed.    Everyone listens to him, twists the truth to get people to believe him.
  7. 7. Didi Todd's girlfriend. Jennifer's best friend. Cheats on Todd with Jake. Goes to an all girls school. Has some kind of history with Jake, he was her math tutor. Likes Jake, but wants Todd too, has both boys. She sees things all about her. Very beautiful, everyone loves to look at her.
  8. 8. Jennifer Rick's best friend since they were kids. Messes around with guys a lot, but only ever goes back to friend, Rick. Didi's best friend. Her favorite phrase, "It's all about me" Likes to have a good time, like getting invited to the parties and just let loose with the people.  Doesn't seem the best kind of friend for Rick, she always makes it so it's about her and doesn't listen to him as she should.
  9. 9. Dipsy Everyone makes fun of.  When he talks, all his lines are from a history  channel show he watches. Seems to be friends with everyone, yet no one. Always gets invited to parties, but always loses pants. Is the most outspoken fan for the football team, always ends up getting kicked out of the game for language.  Pudgy kind of guy that has always got some snack with him.
  10. 10. Nelson Melisa's boyfriend. Stupid. Very strong; could kill someone with his strength if he was angry enough. Always drunk and passed out pretty early on in one of Jake's parties. On the football team as Linebacker and Nose-tackle.
  11. 11. Melissa Nelson's girlfriend. Cheats on him with Todd every Friday at Jake's, with Nelson passed out somewhere. A cheerleader. The "popular" sort.
  12. 12. Jake's Dad Always on business trips, never home. Pretty much leaves his son alone; home alone, doesn't bother him with questions, doesn't ask of him anything. Doesn't pay much attention to his son, or his life. (Jake picked out the house they live in, Dad didn't care less.)
  13. 13. Mrs. Appleford The nosy neighbor. Always telling on people for some little thing they've done. Has called the cops numours times. Likes to gossip about people she watches. Not very trustworthy at all.
  14. 14. Coach Hamer The football team is everything to him. Makes sure his team doesn't quit or work on only one thing. (everyone on team has to have at least 2 jobs) Is willing to give people (with no talent even) a chance on his team.
  15. 15. College Kids Get help from Jake with their homework. (Jake does it for them and they pay.) Starting to go to the parties more often. Make deals with Jake, if he does their homework they will provide him with a keg for the next party. Most are described as cooler than the high school kids. Got piercings and tattoos and cool hair styles and colors.
