The organization launched in 2004 with a nine member Executive Council and today counts more than 25 active volunteers. For individuals, UXnet offers a way to connect to the broadly drawn UX community, by facilitating local groups and organization, as well as creating an international network between participating locales. For organizations, UXnet is a way to explore opportunities for collaboration and a way to reach a new group of practitioners in related UX disciplines. UXnet has received formal endorsement and support from more than 50 top UX professionals from around the world, including luminaries like Don Norman and Aaron Marcus. UXnet has also been formally endorsed by organizations including AIGA-ED, AIfIA, AISI&T, IIID, IxDG and UPA.
