      They usually use the internet for these things:
      Facebook
      Chat friends
      Hotmail
      They log in facebook before they didn’t make breakfast.
      They don’t imagine like without the web.
    • This family spend 10 000 $ in a year for the internet.
      The huge part of it for online social network
    • According to an English television database in uk eight million people visit these web sites in each month.
      Bebo for the early teens
      Myspace for the music lovers
      And facebook
      • According to facebook 350 million people world wide have facebook account.
      • If it were country it will be the third largest behind China and India
      • Britain is becoming the facebook nation. There are 23 million active facebook users. The facebook capital of Britain is Sunderland. More than half of uk facebook members log on daily. On average per an hour every time.
    • You can make a connection with strange people in facebook.
      How true is this?
      To find out more we need to understand why facebook became so popular.
    • In 2007 just ten days after his twenty third birthday mark Zucerberg explained the secret of facebook success.
      Zucerberg’s aim was that facebook will become the destination to connect friends and share information, photos.
      First you sign up to site, create a profile. Than you find friends. In this way each facebook member create own groups of friend. Finally the large network occur and there is a real connection between people.
    • To build up marketing potential facebook need to increase number of users.
      They try something called network effect.
      This system has more benefit for the individual users. Because the user has more possibility to connect with more people and more people can connect with more people who want to join it. The system become self sustaining. It is as simple as that.
    • So the power and value of facebook increases by the number of friends it connect.
    • In 2009 a fast-food firm create a page on facebook.
      They give free foods to people who offer this firm to ten friends on facebook.
      In less than two weeks they reach 233 908 customer.
