Well I assume that every Indian should today be proud to say 'I can afford a car, I have a car and that car is Tata Nano' The Tata Nano is a rear-engined, four-passenger city car built by Tata Motors, aimed primarily at the Indian market. The sales of the car will begin this month and one hopes it will be a huge success.

A promise Ratan Tata made…
Ratan Tata promised a 1 Lakh car for the Indian consumer.. a people’s car that is affordable
Tata Nano, launched by the $29-billion Tata group, is a believed to be a people’s car. The car was launched in an auto expo held at Delhi on 10 Jan 2008.
Price of Tata’s car = Rs 1 Lakh ($2500)
Promise fullfilled……
Nano has 33 bhp, 625cc petrol engine, passes the Indian regulatory requirements, frontal crash test and the Euro-IV emission norms..
Deliveries of the car commencing from the first week of April…..
A gentleman fulfilled his promise to the masses.. Promises made should be kept….
