Kolb experiential learning theory is considered as
framework for investigating laboratory pedagogy.
There are two dimensions in Kolb cycle, the
prehension (knowledge grasp) and the
transformation (knowledge construction).
Finding: Poor laboratory learning outcome is due
to poor activation of the prehension dimension.
