The above is current procedure followed by Snowball GB realease
The RIFF tool supports flashing of ONE is to ONE (ONE computer to ONE snowball board) which is not sufficient in factory process.
Asmaitha engineers have not been introduced to “FlashKit” tool which we understand to be RIFF tool's windows equivalent.
However, this is NOT our CURRENT PROBLEM STATEMENT . It has been given in the next slide.

RIFF Tool For Snowball + Linaro ICS
The above is the process to be followed as per Linaro's website. Please note that, linaro build creates .bz2 files. Following the above procedure, Snowball did not boot.
I suspect, that not having the *.ssw files prevented snowball from booting.
Linarao tool support “HWPacks”, one such HW Pack can be created and given to “linaro-android-media-create”. Not sure if this is the right approach. Needs to be explored. Refer Linaro website for details as per below link
However,”linaro-android-media-create” creats an SDMMMC card without the *.ssw files and phone boots, how is it possible? Need STE support to resolve this.
This is the PROBLEM STATEMENT – How to FLASH LINARO ICS ON EMMC USING RIFF TOOL
???? what about these files, they are not included in the build.
