Aim: to understand the audience consumption trends of different age groups.
AUDIENCE: the local or national group the product or brand is aimed at
CONSUMPTION: how the audience uses a product or brand e.g. XFM’s audience can access the brand through analogue or digital
radio, through apps, tours, festivals, music channels on TV, merchandise
TREND: behaviour of the majority of the target audience
