  • 3. Planning (20 marks)
    • You must show evidence of planning your production from now until the deadline
    • Evidence of individual work must be provided via photos, video essays etc uploaded to your blog
  • 4. Some things to include:
    • Preliminary tasks with analysis
    • Codes and conventions
    • Real media products, deconstructed
    • Practical tasks to show how you have developed
    • Practice ancillaries with evaluation
    • Location shots
    • Shot lists
    • Timetables
    • Evidence of roles taken in groups
    • Costume planning
    • “ Making of” short films
  • 5. Moving image is marked on:
    • Holding a shot steady
    • Framing a shot appropriately
    • Using a variety of shot distances
    • Shooting material appropriate to task set
    • Selecting mise en scene
    • Editing so meaning is apparent to viewers
    • Transitions, captions and effects used appropriately
    • Sound and images edited appropriately
