  • 2. Google Maps A web mapping service application and technology provided by Google. Google Maps can be accessed through the web by going to its main site, http://maps.google.com .

    What does Google Maps offer?
  • 6. Why use Google Maps? Google Maps provides locations of establishments like businesses with their address and contact number. With its user-friendly interface, Google shows results available in text and on the map by just typing the desired place.

    • It similar to a street map.
    • 9. It has a gray background.
    • 10. The small roads are colored white, larger roads are yellow and major highways and interstates are colored orange.

    • View the area as it is seen from above.

    • Used to determine whether an area is flat or rocky.

  • 56. Google Maps makes the process of finding a particular business by searching on the business name or type of business, such as a pizza restaurant, or gas station, in any area very easy. Just type the name of the business and the city or zip code, and Google Maps searches for the map and produces a results list of businesses matching your search. You can also type pizza , or other keyword identifying a business and Google will find related businesses.
