  3. 3. Inform Learners of Objectives <ul><li>At this stage learners will be informed of what they are expected to know at the end of the unit. In this example the objective is for them to be able to provide answers to questions about rent parties. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Stimulate Recall of Prior Learning <ul><li>Students will be asked to recall prior knowledge of what they learned about this time period in previous lectures. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Present the Content <ul><li>In this module Marian interviews pianist Red Richards about how he got interested in jazz. He reveals he was taken to rent party and describes what they were like. </li></ul>
