Your dog and cat are special individuals, with quirks and habits specific to their
personalities. At NYC Dog Walk, we encourage your pets to grow and creatively express
their natural instincts to play and explore. Our pet care professionals are affectionate and
committed to fostering a nurturing environment for your dogs to have fun. We’re here to
earn your trust, and open communication with you is a valued element in helping us
facilitate a socially wonderful environment for your dog. Here are some of our dog walking
policies:
Before we walk your dog – At a predetermined time, your trained dog walker will come
pick up your dog at your home. Note: We do require a set of your home keys so that we can
easily pick up and drop off your dog without bothering you at work.
During the dog walk – Our dog walker will take your dog for a walk based on your
preferences; you can decide where you want us to walk your dog and for how long. Your
dog will stay hydrated and happy, exercising to their heart’s content as they roam the city
streets sniffing for new adventures. Your dog will always be accompanied by our dog
walker, serving to make sure that your dog stays away from dangerous objects (such as
garbage on the pavement, fast-riding cyclists, skateboarders, etc). We do ask that you
provide us with a leash; this keeps your dog and the community safe.
If the weather is unusual, our dog walker will keep your dog outside for as long as it’s
comfortable. During the winter, we ask that you please leave a coat or some sort of
garment so that when we take your dog out for a walk, they may remain warm and cozy.
For the summer, our dog walker will bring water along so that your dog stays hydrated and
cool. We’ll also pick shady areas for walks, keeping a trained eye on your pet to make sure
that they’re always comfortable.
If your dog displays signs of illness, we’ll contact you immediately and take appropriate
action in a timely manner. Our staff is trained to react in emergency situations, and we’ll
bring your pet to a veterinarian as fast as possible, making sure that your dog remains
comfortable. If your dog is taking prescriptions, or suffers from any medical conditions or
allergies, please be sure to let us know beforehand.
After we walk your dog – Once we bring your dog home, we’ll make sure that the
temperature inside the house is comfortable. If your dog is hungry, we’ll feed them, making
sure that there’s fresh water in their bowls. We can also leave a light on for owners who get
back home after dark. For those who request it, we’ll be happy to leave a little note

Our hours: Our business contact hours are 9am to 9pm daily. To accommodate your
working schedule, our dog-walking hours are between 9am to 7pm. However, the service
rates are different for hours between 5pm and 7pm (as well as on weekends).
On holidays: Our service is available all year round, including holidays. However, an
additional $5.00 will be added to the regular fee; an additional $10.00 if it’s between
5pm-7pm or on weekends.

Cancellation Policy: We understand that life can get hectic and unpredictable, so as long

Hot oil treatment - $30
For a healthy and beautiful coat, pamper your dog and cat with our hot oil treatment. It will
make their fur soft to the touch, so that you can have a soft pet to cuddle and love.
Additional Pet Grooming Services:
Cream rinses – Let your dog and cat luxuriate in a creamy bath that will help clean their fur
and put some health back into their steps. Our groomer will soothingly wash your pet,
showering them with attention and care. Remember, the shampoos and conditioners that

Dematting – Pets will be pets, and as they roll around playing all day, their fur can get

up and drop off your dog easily.
Do you need a set of my keys?
Yes, we do. This is for convenience purposes, so that when we pick up and drop off your
dog after their walks, we can easily let them into their homes.
Will my dog get personalized attention and care?
Definitely! Personalized service is a cornerstone of our business philosophy. Even during dog
walks, we keep the pack to a minimum; we don’t take more than 3 dogs on a group walk.
We make sure that your dog gets along with others, and you’re always free to request
individual walks. Our dog walkers are experienced in caring for multiple dogs, so each
animal will still get showered with individual attention.
Will my dog be on a leash?
Yes. For the safety of your dog and the community, your dog has to be on a leash. Except
for when we go for run in a dog park, we will always keep you dog on a leash. They’ll still
get to explore the streets, make new friends (of both the human and animal kinds), and

What if my dog is aggressive?
Dogs like to play, and that’s perfectly normal. However, if your dog displays aggressive
tendencies towards humans, we can’t walk your dog. For a behavioral assessment of your

How do you discipline dogs?
Though we can help reinforce what your dog has learned in training, we don’t discipline
dogs. Should the occasion warrant it, our walkers will use a soothing voice and gentle hand
to keep your dog under control. Otherwise, we’re happy to let your dog freely discover the
neighborhood.
What if my dog gets sick while under your care?
Before we start our service, we’ll always discuss a precautionary plan of action with you. If
you dog does show signs of illness during a walk, we will contact you immediately and will
bring your pet to the nearest veterinarian for proper medical treatment. Keeping your dog
happy and healthy is important to us because we treat every dog as if they’re our own.
