Final posts: 10 posts Total comments: 15 comments I have more views on Wednesday because it’s the “due date” for comments. My post that have the most views is about my “Vlog” because I think that people where most interested to see it than “written” posts.
MY BLOG (CONTINUATION)My video : Not easy to do It takes me almost 1 hour It has been viewed 18 times. Changes to improve it : not reading, speaking more slowly, say more things about me. Keep a blog? Not now because I don’t have time at school for that. In the future? I will create a blog in the future to talk about my company or product and sell it with pictures and Vlog.
I’ve learnt, during this class, that companies can use Facebook to do advertising. One of the most effective tool : bigger number of people and it’s simple to use it. In the future : use of facebook to do advertising and create a phenomenon of “word of mouth” with my product/company. Friends : 639 Brands/groups followed : 147
I didn’t used twitter before this class and I’ve learnt how to do tweets and retweets. I don’t like twitter and I don’t see the interest for the moment to use it. I follow Vogue, YSL and Jean-Paul Gaultier because I love fashion and I would like to work in this area. Advantages : famous people, companies on it. Drawbacks : only 140 words, difficult to follow a conversation (ex: chat).
I didn’t used LinkedIn before this class. I’ve learnt how to use it and its importance to get a job and be known by more companies. I can use it and create a group or page to build my personal brand. I belong to the group of UCR and the groups of my school in France “EMLV”. I choose them because it’s important to belong to this group in my profile because it can interest companies and emphasizes the fact that I did my studies there.
CLOSING THOUGHTS Other tools :- Wiki’s : allows to share knowledge with other people. It’s very instructive.- Pinterest : sharing pictures is so easy with your friends, family. Biggest take-aways from this class : social media marketing is very important in a company nowadays to be more effective but it’s NOT free. It will be usefull in the future to sell my product/company on Facebook, Twitter to get a brand regognition and make people talking well about me (Words of mouth). I’ll use : Facebook, LinkedIn, blogger. I’ll don’t use : Twitter.
