RULES<br />BE RESPECTFUL<br />Don’t talk when the teacher is talking<br />Don’t talk when another student is talking<br />Don’t make fun of somebody else.<br />They may be doing their best<br />You might struggle one day<br />Don’t go through other people’s stuff<br />Walk through the hallway quietly and carefully<br />Return things from where you got them<br />

RULES cont.<br />BE RESPONSIBLE<br />Come to class ready to learn<br />No cell phones, MP3 players, toys, distractions<br />Listen to teacher directions and try your best to follow them<br />It is okay to ask questions – respectfully<br />We are the same as your classroom teacher<br />Use equipment / materials carefully (as if it was yours or your parents)<br />Wear the correct shoes / clothes for PE<br />Return your library books<br />No food or gum in class<br />Don’t spit on the blacktop<br />

PLAYGROUND cont…<br />EQUIPMENT<br />Borrow it = RETURN IT<br />There are no refills <br />No kicking of ANY ball on the playground<br />Only on field<br />Equipment from home needs to be used according to school rules – taken away for 1 week or more depending<br />You bring it = you’re responsible for it <br />It gets lost, stolen, broken – school is not responsible for it<br />Stop playing at the bell and carry to line and thru hall<br />Misuse somebody’s equipment – you might be held responsible for replacing it<br />
