    Notes on slide 1

Total users? Active users? What are active users? Users in a specific niche? Niches discussed next I wanted an app that people appreciated and found useful. The amount of users didn’t really bother me. I’ve received lots of good feedback, so I’d say I’ve been successful. (cue “great success” Borat pic) So I measure my success by looking at groups (show EI vs Super Wall groups) I focus on my app itself instead of how many people are using it You might say this is like George W, but if he was running an app, I don’t think he’d be focusing on either the popularity or the app If you are successful, what next? Are you going to sell? If so, to whom? For how much? Bidder with the highest price so you can sit around reading valleywag all day? Or the best bidder for your users?

“ The Wall, Lah” which translates wall posts to Singlish (“omg haven’t talked to you in a while” turns into “alamak! Long time no talk lah!”). who does this target? Will it catch on? How should we help it spread? Can it monetize?

From a developer’s POV, this is an awesome way to rapidly gain a userbase From the user’s POV… (flash image of lots of invites, and of crowded profile).. ehhh how did that get in there… (flash scrabble image)… it means access to lots of cool ideas they may have never heard of before, ranging from ideas outside of facebook, to additions to facebook itself that the company never implemented (flash EI image) But really, it’s the first time we’ve seen such third-party integration from a major site. Its implications for the future of the web (cheesy image of the future… star wars maybe)

I’ve talked about the idea, planning, developing, and execution… so what’s next? The death of an app? No way. It’s time for the monetization talk! (next speech)
