About My career choice was made years before my actual employment. At my academy graduation, my folks gave me a picture I drew in grade school, "When I grow up..." that in crayon, crudely depicted a stick figure and a police car. I started down that path and was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to enter the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Academy at age 20, hired by the San Marino Police Department. I remained with San Marino for three years and then lateralled to the Arcadia Police Department in 1987. In 1991, I was promoted to Sergeant, "the best job on the Department."
I am currently assigned as the Detective Bureau Supervisor and coordinate the Social Media presence for AP..
