    4. Synopsis BALLET MAGIQUE ADAM & EVE The battle of good and evil begins with the War of Angels and the fall of Lucifer including the creation of Earth and Man. Set in a sumptuous garden guarded by daunting owls and motivated by the mysterious Tree of Life, Adam searches for right and wrong while the cunning serpent lures Eve into a seduction of reproachable temptation. This ballet is a beautiful spectacular pas de deux laced with breath taking pas de trois and compelling illusions. O’FORTUNA O’fortuna’s backdrop stets the stage for a rough game of poker on a giant table and chairs, and the play of a gripping tale of passion and revenge. The Ring of the Rose is the story of a Japanese traveler long ago who upon chance falls in love with a Chinese woman. Her brothers are in constant turmoil with the relationship as well as the cultural differences of the races. This turmoil leads to varied conflicts and choices when one of the brothers decides to take matters into his hands. The Ring of Roses is a passionate love story full of high intense martial arts and various dance forms. Les Vampires is the story of a priest named Lavelle who falls for a beautiful woman. When the Vampires abduct her he has no choice but to chase the evil that stole his beloved away from him. He does not realize that this tormented choice comes with a price. Les Vampires feature lots of “sleight of hand”, disappearing, and floating. Les Vampires will excite you, move you and drive you wild with fear. Feel the pleasure of each bite! Mélange a Trois is the beautiful story of Adam & Eve. Mélange a Trois means “the mixture of three”. Everything about “Mélange” is magical, from the set, the Tree of Life, Tree of Knowledge, and the “floating ball”, other wise known as the “Don Wayne Ball Illusion” and of course the dancers. With an array of talent from all over the world, Mélange a Trois features trapeze work, amazing acrobatics and ballet. is the first show created by the duo team of Anthony Johnson and Gene Wooley. It features the Band “Empress” their lead singer Christine Perone, and the charismatic magician Yigal Mesika. Ballet Magique was the first to introduce Mesika’s “Phone Booth Illusion”; the show also included Wooley’s full stage disappearing dress, a magic dove, slick choreography and the dancing canes. The performance left the audience wowed! 1

    6. BM INVESTING The answer to the question of what makes Ballet Magique different from the vast majority of businesses who typically seek investment and or seed capital is very simple, experience. Ballet Magique is not a theory or a dream or a concept, Ballet Magique is a concrete reality. Over the past seven years Ballet Magique has emerged as a theatrical genius, new to its time. Co-Directors, Anthony Johnson and Gene Wooley have created, designed, produced, choreographed, lit, costume designed and created intricate illusions for four immensely popular and critically acclaimed performance pieces, every one of which literally “packed the house” for throngs of devoted, standing room only audience members and all of which were fully financed by the directing team. Ballet Magique has established itself as a force to be reckoned with amongst the dance community in California. John Tarasi, writer for the HBO hit series “Dead Wood” described his Ballet Magique experience as being “the best production I have ever seen,” when he saw them perform at the Arab-esque Concert in Los Angeles. Diane Monroe from the Beverly Hills Outlook reportedly stated, “The Ring of the Rose by Ballet Magique was the most thoroughly developed work on the program. Their technical level of performance was higher than the others.” With Ballet and Magic facing many changes many companies are looking to entertainment groups like us to entice audiences to sell more tickets. Whether you invest into a particular show or in the company itself, your investment will see great reward, clearing the passage for major purchases or future investing. There has been an increased interest in the company. We have been offered opportunities in China and many other festivals and events. We have also received three Lester Horton Nominations, “Outstanding Achievement in Choreography, Lighting and Costume Design. Currently, traditional forms of entertainment are available to the public, but rarely is there a performance group that embodies the essence of all the art forms in one innovative and highly entertaining performance. Ballet Magique wants to take advantage of this current popularity to grow in funding and audience.

    8. BALLET MAGIQUE versus Cirque du Soliel Ballet Magique is constantly compared to Cirque du Soleil. Although flattered by the common comparison, Ballet Magique strives to distinguish itself from the sometimes over-the-top circus-like environment created by and usually associated with their shows in several vital and creative aspects. The following provides a brief comparison of the similarities and the differences between Ballet Magique and Cirque du Soleil. Similarities Both companies attract and hire some of the most highly skilled professional performers and technicians in the world. Although Ballet Magique does not share the luxury of working with multi-million dollar budgets, both companies pride them selves in delivering exceptional production value. The primary comparison between the two companies is unquestionably the quality of the shows’ sheer pageantry that BALLET MAGIQUE results when combining theatricality with brilliant set and costume design. VS Differences Simply put, Ballet Magique is not a circus act. It is a dance company. Although Cirque du Soliel is often “magical”, Ballet Magique “DOES” Magic! Cirque du Soleil is best known for its circus–like atmosphere; hence, the show consists primarily of separate, unrelated vignettes. On the other hand, Ballet Magique, much like an Opera, captivates its audience by telling a “story” that has a beginning, middle and an end. Unprecedented in the world of performance art is the degree to which Ballet Magique, gracefully and effortlessly fuses one art form with another such as ballet, magic, martial arts, acrobatics and music. Cirque du Soliel simply shows/ uses its’ apparatus. Ballet Magique manipulates apparatus so that the audience CIRQUE DU SOLIEL is unaware that apparatus is being used.
