    The Challenge
    In the crowded TV market place it is important to be an innovative brand. When Samsung, the No. 1 TV brand in Ireland, launched one of the most technology advanced TVs in the world with a host of features, the Samsung LED 9000, they knew how important it would be to reach the key decision makers and stand out.

    The Thinking
    The campaign objective was to create an engaging DM piece, that linked to a microsite where recipients could view the incredible features of the Samsung LED 9000.
    It was important that all the strong features of the LED 9000 were detailed within the piece:
    • 3-D Full high definition – The ability to convert 2D to 3D instantly
    • 5. Intelligent remote control – features a 3-inch touch screen allowing you to watch live TV or movies on your remote control
    • 6. Internet @ TV – Bringing online world to the Samsung TV
    • 7. Ultra-Slim LED Flat Screen – 7.98mm Thin
  • Samsung LED 9000 TV
    The Mailing
    DMA developed a DM piece that contained a bespoke aluminium ruler which was only calibrated to 7.98mm, illustrating the thinness of the TV.
    Contained in the DM was a link to a microsite, which displayed YouTube clips of the outstanding features of the product.
    Digital banner ads were also developed and targeted on premium sites to encourage more awareness around the Samsung LED 9000.
