  • 2. DEFINE A TRAINER  “BUILDING A QUALITATIVE BRIDGEIS MUCH MORE DESIRABLE THAN BUILDING A WALL”. A TRAINER IS SUCH A PERSON WHO BUILDS A BRIDGE.  TRAINER IS AN INDIVIDUAL, WHO DELIVERS A SPECIFIC SUBJECT MATTER TO THE TRAINEES IN THE DESIRED METHODS

  • 4. CHARACTERISTICS OF A PARTICIPATIVE TRAINER A Participative trainer should possess the following traits:-  Good Organising Ability  Self - Cofidence  Innovative Thinking  Warm & Pleasant Personality  Enthusiasm  Good Communication Skill  Conflict Managing Ability  Controlling Power

Comparision  Imposes on trainees  Guides the trainees  Does not gives more importance towards the Capacity Building of Trainees.  There is no such room for conflicts.  Involves the trainees at all levels of learning.  Plays a role as facilitator.  Prepare a CapacityBuilding Calender for trainnees.  Resolves the trainees conflict within the session

MERITS OF PARTICIPATIVE TRAINER  Participative trainer builds a bridge between the two.  He encourages,empowers & enriches the trainees in all respects.  Leaves no room for unsolved doubts & confusion.  Can assess the impact of his deliveries on the trainees.  Gets a scope to know each trainee individually
