  • 1. Food Safety — Reduce Your Exposureto Pesticides Pesticides are often used to keep the bugs and pests away especially on inorganic farms. It acts as a control agent for pests that will deter a better crop yield. Well, most insects love to thrive on fruits and vegetables since it is practically their food source. Once they get on the crops and the products, it would produce holes and markings that are not good for selling and production anymore. Farm owners would lose a lot of money without these pesticides. For this reason, most farmers would spray the chemicals to ensure that every product is safe from any harmful parasites. Precaution on PesticidesAs you munch on your favorite fruit like apple and oranges, you will surely feel better since youknow that it is nutritious and healthy. However, fruits and vegetables with pesticides can beharmful to the body. Believe it or not, most fruits and vegetables that are sprayed with pesticidesare directly delivered to the supermarket or in groceries. So if you do not wash these properly, there are huge chances to expose your body to these harmful chemicals. Though pesticides are not a huge concern at all, most people worry about the effects on young children. Since they have smaller and younger body, the pesticide could easily penetrate their body system. Another concern is that pesticides could stay in the body for years. It increases the risk in developing cancer and other diseases. Effects of Pesticide Exposure Pesticide exposure has different effects on the body. It could lead to motor skills problems, mental disorders (obsessive compulsive personality disorder, avoidant personality disorder test), behavioral problems, and delayed growth anddevelopment. And as mentioned earlier, it increases the risk of cancer risks. Pesticides aremade out of chemicals. And as it continues to thrive in the body, it could deter normal cellfunctions. Pesticide can be fatal as well. For this, usage of pesticides must be regulatedproperly.Food with Pesticides There are some food products that have higher concentrations of pesticides. Some of these are peaches, nectarines, pears, apples, potatoes, spinach, grapes, bell pepper, and celery. So if ever you are going to use these fruits

If you want those products that have lower concentrations of pesticides, you can go for avocados, mangoes, bananas, broccoli, onions, pineapples, asparagus, graviola, and sweet peas. Pesticide exposure can be really dangerous. However, this does not mean that you will have to lessen your intake on fruits and vegetables. It is a good thing that there are ways on how you can actually limit yourself from it. For one, you can go for organic products. Though they are much moreexpensive compared to inorganic ones, you can be rest assured that every fruit or vegetablethat you will purchase is free from chemicals and other dangerous components. There are alsosome product cleansers or sprays available that get rid of pesticides.
