I live with my husband on a North Texas cattle ranch along with my mini-dachshund Lady and lots of cows! I’m often asked where I get my inspiration as a nonfiction writer? And my answer is, “From places with big horizons!” Anywhere from the big Texas fields that encompass my view as I walk around my ranch, gazing at sunsets over the ocean to sitting on top of my favorite Colorado mountain.
