Slasher films are a very stereotypical genre, many of them have the same storylines. <br />We tried to stick to the sterotypes while diverting away to create a more sophisticated. <br />In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products<br />
  3. 3. Our product and other distributed products all represent women as naïve, non-forceful victims. <br />In our product the woman lacks the bravery needed to shut the door on the man and lacked the strength to escape. <br />How does your media product represent particular social groups<br />
  4. 4. Most of the film industry would distribute our genre of media product.<br />However because our product is low budget, it is unlikely the larger labels, such as Universal, would show an interest.<br />Therefore, it is likely a smaller company would be in charge of distributing our film.<br />What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?<br />
  5. 5. Our target audience is really broad, however it would mainly attract males between the ages of 15-26 as this age group are still youthful and like goriness. <br />Who would be the audience for your media product?<br />
  6. 6. We attracted our audience by sticking to the stereotypes of slasher films, while making it seem original, which attracted people beyond our target audience.<br />How did you attract/address your audience<br />
  7. 7. I have learnt how to use many different applications, and various cameras.<br />I have learnt various new camera angles that enable to keep a face hidden.<br />What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? <br />

I have learnt that there are many different types of camera angles and shot that can be used to make a film seem professional.<br />I learnt that you have to leave a few seconds before and after the clips in order to avoid sound being cut.<br />Looking back at your preliminry task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product<br />
