CONCLUSIONMusic of Nepal has changed since years. In ancient age itwas just limited to Lok Dohori(FOLK MUSIC). But ithas now reached hip-hop and pop. We living in theurbanized area of Nepal feel like folk music and oldgeneras of Nepali music has lost. But we forget thatmore than 60 % of Nepals land is suburbanized. And inthose places people don’t prefer music which we listen. Also contribution of people belonging from lower casteis more towards music. We can see the impact of westernmusic too in Nepali music.
