THE NAMEIt was chosen to illustrate the love of denim: “wehave indigo coursing through our veins”. It isalso a synonym for royalty and aristocracy, em-phasizing of their love for quality, tradition andcraftsmanship. They wanted to take the “fast”out of fashion: go back to making remarkableproducts with style and personality.
THE MOTTOThe Blue Blood motto is ‘For Our Friends’. Thisis how they actually started out: making jeans ‘tomeasure’ for our own friends. As they developedthe brand further, ‘For Our Friends’ came to rep-resent both a quality level (nothing but the bestfor our friends…) and an attitude: the values andlifestyle they represent.
THE LOBSTERTheir labels and products bare the image ofa Lobster. The Lobster was chosen as BlueBlood’s mascot because they have blue bloodtoo. Besides this, lobsters are fascinating, beau-tiful creatures that can grow just as old as hu-man beings.
