  3. 3. Purpose: <ul><li>To bring a positive change among the pre-university students </li></ul>
  4. 4. PROBLEMS <ul><li>The problems are: </li></ul><ul><li>-- Mixing with each other </li></ul><ul><li>-- Getting into relationship. </li></ul><ul><li>-- Feeling depressed. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Findings <ul><li>-- Female students suffered more emotional problems than the male students. </li></ul><ul><li>-- Students are facing problems in academic arena for different kind of emotional problems </li></ul><ul><li>-- They need help to overcome the problems. </li></ul>

  7. 7. Counselor’s opinion (Shami Suhrid): <ul><li>--Not “problems” but “issues of one’s life”. </li></ul><ul><li>-- “IDENTITY CRISIS” . </li></ul><ul><li>--“ways to deal with the issues” </li></ul>
  8. 8. Counselor’s opinion (Shami Suhrid): <ul><li>If the “demand” is less or more than “resource”, students will feel stress </li></ul><ul><li>Changing role of students is creating new demand </li></ul><ul><li>Life is not math, life has to move on: we have to sacrifice, compromise. </li></ul>

Counselor’s suggestions: <ul><li>Express and explore yourself. </li></ul><ul><li>How you want to see yourself is important` </li></ul><ul><li>Always try to think positive. </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t compare yourself with others . compare through yourself. </li></ul><ul><li>Find out your capabilities & nourish those </li></ul><ul><li>Do sacrifice and make compromise </li></ul>
  10. 10. Counselor’s suggestions: <ul><li>Take peer support. </li></ul><ul><li>Take support from counselor </li></ul><ul><li>Be less dependent on technology, try to talk face to face </li></ul><ul><li>Give sometime to yourself. </li></ul><ul><li>Try to heal the past. </li></ul>
  11. 11. Counselor’s suggestions: <ul><li>Have the willingness to change yourself. </li></ul><ul><li>Find out reasons from the mistakes. </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t consider “mistakes” as “wrong doings” and don’t give punishments to yourself. </li></ul>
