  • How many of you plan on transferring to a 4-year college?
  • How many are 1 st generation students?
  • “ How many of you intend to seek out scholarships to pay for college?” That's when you can talk about our new scholarship recommendations feature. recommends scholarships based on your profile and transfer preferences.
  • Laura Rasmussen McGee 8/4/2010 “ Did you know that as a member of Phi Theta Kappa, you were automatically enrolled in CollegeFish.org?"
  • Some of the information in your profile will be pre-populated from data received from the College.
  • Make sure to fill out the profile accurately and completely, so the search engine for colleges can return the best results.
  • A screenshot of the 22 steps towards a successful transfer.
  • These are the best fit college matches based on the specific information you input in your profile. If your profile information changes, it will update the college match section as well. To save a college, click on the “FishBowl.” You can save up to 6 colleges in your FishBowl.
  • You can reorder the colleges within your fishbowl by changing the number in the rank column. Make sure to click the “drive” icon to save your changes!
  • You can drill down on a specific day. Make sure to explore the options available in this tool, and check back for updates and events that are published by your college and those 4-year schools you’ve chosen in your FishBowl.
  • The College profile has 10 tabs with very detailed information on each college within the database. This includes contact information and information outlining both tuition and aid and demographics.
  • There are roughly 3,000 third-party scholarships listed within the CollegeFish.org database.
  • Much like the FishBowl, this is the area you can save select scholarships to. Once you’ve searched for a scholarship, if you’re interested in exploring it further, save it to your Treasure Chest for follow up.
