Anna, your slide show strikes a chord in my heart being an offspring of a genocide parents.

Katyn forest massacre is a painful era for the Polish people in the 20th century. The mass execution of Polish political leadership, military officers, policemen and the civilians by the order of Soviet authority in March 1940 proves Stalin’s actions as a wicked and coward leader.

It is estimated some 60 million human lives were lost during WWII and 2/3 of them were civilians. Poland had the 3rd or 4th highest death toll close to 7 million behind Russia, China, and Germany.
Today most of the media focuses on the 6 million Jewish souls and brands the name “Holocaust” by the Axis Powers. If an estimated 40 million civilians lost their lives why do we gloss over and overlook thus ignore the genocide of 34 million that were non Jews? Question I raise: Are their souls less deserving not to be recognized for all the atrocities Axis Powers did? You be the judge to value media plays to brain wash.

My father was a survivor of the Armenian genocide that took place early 20th century (1915-1917) by the Turkish Ottoman Empire. During this period 1.5 million Armenian souls’ the innocent civilians were massacred by the Turks.
The facts are all there documented by historians and the people who witnessed the deliberate and systematic destruction of the Armenian population by the Ottoman Empire. Sadly to say nothing was done after WWI by the global community to address the matter. Thus the Armenian Question has been ignored until today.

Today Republic of Turkey and several other countries around the world have failed to acknowledge and accept the words “ARMENIAN GENOCIDE” taking place. This includes United States and Israel. (You be the judge of such hypocrisy)

In our society today it is politically wrong should a person question any element of different views on the Holocaust matter. But incase if you do you are branded as anti-Semitic.
However, on the other hand if you deny the Armenian Genocide taking place in the loss of 1.5 million souls is that acceptable? You be the judge to witness the facts.

The ward genocide has a special meaning in my heart in that it reminds me of my father a man of inspiration and endless determination with courage before passing at the age of 90. He never has seen his parents. When his mother was 7 months pregnant the Turkish soldiers came to the house arrested 11 members of the family all men one of them his father and took them outside of the house and shot and killed them all. Shortly after when he was born the Turks took his mother away and we don’t know until today what happened to his mother. He was raised by his grandmother during infancy then he was placed in the Armenian Orphanage system through the assistance of America and few European countries. He never new his exact birthday so he picked JULY 14th in recognition to BASTILLE DAY (French Independence Day)

But this slide show is a reminder not to forget genocide of human beings through the inhuman treatments and atrocities by mankind. Should we ignore the massacres of humans it will repeat again and again as it did in WWII, Rwanda, Darfur, Sudan & more.

Thanks Anna to share with us a dark moment of history the Kattyn massacre the loss of innocent polish souls.

Anna, great elaboration of the topic! Important topic. Katyn is a part of the Universal History , the history of the world, shows what leads every totalitarianism. A similar things are happening all over the world, in every place where the law of God ceases to be obligatory.
Anna, thanks for this work and congratulations!
