  • THE COW AND THE BULL
  • WHERE LIVE THE COWS? The cow as herbivorous mammal lives in the plains, they are also found in area but not very steep hills. As their food is naturally based on herbs, is that generally they are breeding in large areas of pasture, making it more productive rearing in the plains.
  • WHAT EAT THE COWS? Among the commonly used grain and fodder to feed the cows arealfalfa, sorghum, maize, barley, silage, oats and various grasses, among others.
  • WHAT PRODUCE THE COWS? The cow produces milk only.This yields derivatives that are butter, cheese, cream, milk powder, condensed milk, formula, etc.
  • Calve´s name "Calf" is the term used from birth toweaning, when it becomes known as aweaner or weaner calf, though in someareas the term "calf" may be used until the animal is a yearling.
