Resistor <br />A resistor or resistor is an element that causes opposition to current electric flow , causing its terminal voltage appears a difference (a voltage).<br />Una resistencia o resistor es un elemento que causa oposición al paso de la corriente eléctrica, causando que en sus terminales aparezca una diferencia de tensión (un voltaje).<br />
  • 3. Types of resistance<br />The most commonly used types of resistance are: <br />-Fixed Resistors: agglomerated carbon film, wirewound and metal film. <br />-Variable resistors: rolls of film. <br />-Dependent or variable resistors: LDR, VDR, PTC , NTC.<br />Los tipos de resistencias más utilizadas son:<br />- Resistencias fijas: aglomeradas, de película de carbón, de película metálica y<br />bobinadas.<br />- Resistencias variables: bobinadas, de película.<br />- Resistencias dependientes o variables: LDR, VDR, PTC, NTC.<br />

Resistor <br />The resistors are manufactured in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. <br />The larger the resistor value is printed directly on the body of it, but in smaller not possible.<br />Los resistores (resistencias)son fabricados en una gran variedad  de formas y tamaños.<br />En las más grandes, el valor del resistor se imprime directamente en el cuerpo del mismo, pero en los más pequeños no es posible.<br />
  • 5. To be able to easily obtain the value of resistance / resistor is used, the color code.<br />On these resistors are painted bands of color. Each color represents a number that is used to obtain the final value of the resistor.<br />Para poder obtener con facilidad el valor de la resistencia /resistor se utiliza el código de colores<br />Sobre estos resistores se pintan unas bandas de colores. Cada color representa un número que se utiliza para obtener el valor final del resistor.<br />

The first two bands indicate the first two digits of the value of the resistor, the third band indicates how many zeros should be increased to the previous value to obtain the final value of the resistor. <br />The fourth band indicates the tolerance and if there fifth band, this one indicates its reliability.<br />Las dos primeras bandas indican las dos primeras cifras del valor del resistor, la tercera banda indica cuantos ceros hay que aumentarle al valor anterior para obtener el valor final de la resistor.<br />La cuarta banda nos indica  la tolerancia y si hay quinta banda, ésta nos indica su confiabilidad.<br />

  • 8. If a resistor has the following color bands:<br />The resistor has a value of 2400.000 ohms ± 5% The maximum value of this resistor is: 25200.000 Ω The minimum value of this resistor is: 22800.000 Ω resistor can have any value between the maximum and minimum calculated.<br />
