Website evaluation structure

  1. 1. EVALUATING WEBSITES PROFORMA How do you know if a Website is reliable? Does the title of the site tell you what it is about? Does the page have an author’s name and e-mail address? Is there any information about this person? Who published the site? Have you heard of them before? Is there a date on the site to show that it is current? Is there information on the site that you do not understand? Is there information on the site that you know is right? Is there information on the site that you think is wrong? Do you think the information is one person’s opinion? Does the site have links to other sites? Do these links work? Do these linked sites contain useful information? Does the site have a copyright statement?
