The same has happened to the global temperature of our planet, with particular reference to earth athmosphere and oceanic water.
ALL THIS HAS DANGEROUS CONSEQUENCES EARTH and MANKIND
Hozone layer acting as a protective screen against ratiatiosns and ultraviolet rays becomes thinner every year, due to some chemical compounds containing Fluorin and Chlorine. These are not directly dangerous for Humans and animals but they cause irreparable damages to athmospfere and vegetation.
The solar rays pass through the atmosphere; when they are in contact with earth they should be reflected with a lower intensity. In the athmosphere there are some particles that don’t let the rays to be released.In the last time the particles have been increased avoiding the rays to be released or better they have caused their return to the earth provoking the planet warming.
It is a consequence of the increased concentration of greenhouse gases in the athmosphere. In the last 150 years the average global temperature has increased of 0,7/0,8 gradi. The year1998 was the hottest year, followed by 2005 and 2006. The bad news are that, even if all the gases emissions were stopped today, their negative effects would go on for some centuries.
ALL THIS IS CAUSED BY POLLUTION
It is a mass of more substances in such concentration as to be able to modify the normal environmental conditions. These changes are dangerous for man and environment. The main sources of pollution are the emissions from industries and the burning processes and gases emissions from urban traffic.
It is caused by solid waste: paper, glass, plastic…, (some are biodegradable some aren’t)(some need to be burnt in suitable places.
Our climate has changed over the past centuries. The Earth has become hotter and hotter. This phenomenon is called global warming. Scientists think this could be due to us altering our climate and environment through agricultural and industrial practices. The rise in surface temperature that results from trapped solar radiation emitted by the atmosphere is called the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect gets its name from the high temperature that is present. This temperature and humidity are often much higher in a greenhouse than in the air outside. The atmosphere doesn’t allow radiation to escape into space and so the temperature rises. The greenhouse effect is necessary because without it the earth would be too cold for humans to survive, it is essentially a good thing. Without it we could freeze! It is changes in the greenhouse effect that could have undesirable consequences for us. The greenhouse effect depends on gases present in the atmosphere that strongly absorb radiation. These are called greenhouse gases. The greater the amount of a greenhouse gas in the atmosphere, the higher the temperature. Human activity has increased, so there are more gases being released into the atmosphere. These activities include deforestation and the burning of the fossil fuels. Human activities are changing the composition of the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases are increasing and the temperature is rising.
