  6. 6. Content Knowledge <ul><li>The best way to deliver a good presentation is to know, understand and be able to explain your material. </li></ul>

Presentation Structure <ul><li>Introduction </li></ul><ul><li>Give an overview and what you intend to accomplish during the presentation. </li></ul><ul><li> </li></ul><ul><li>Body </li></ul><ul><li>This should be a logical sequence of information and should be well supported with evidence, visual aids and audience involvement. </li></ul><ul><li> </li></ul><ul><li>Conclusion </li></ul><ul><li>This is where you point out to the audience how you have achieved what you promised in the introduction. </li></ul>

Audio Visual Aides <ul><li>Audio visual aides may help take the pressure of the presenter and provide cues for your presentation </li></ul><ul><li>Some AV aides that might be used: </li></ul><ul><li>Video (youtube, DVD) </li></ul><ul><li>Slides </li></ul><ul><li>Handouts </li></ul><ul><li>Charts </li></ul>

Audience Involvement <ul><li>Audience Involvement will helps make them feel a part of the presentation </li></ul><ul><li>Some involvement activites are: </li></ul><ul><li>Ask them questions </li></ul><ul><li>Role plays </li></ul><ul><li>Group brainstorming </li></ul><ul><li>Competing against another group </li></ul>
