  • The Bermuda Green Island Solar TeleVillage Project mission is to create a sustainable future for its people, especially the underclass population. The strategy is to educate, training and empower them to become stakeholders in the growing eco-tourism industry market. The GreenI.tv and the Green Technology Institute, a public benefit organization established by the Tom Bradley Legacy Foundation, Inc. has launched an Eco-Tourism Global Initiative to empower the Native people to own and operate a chain of Solar Some Televillages to accommodate the eco tourists from around the world.. The Eco Tourism Global Initiative is a strategy to combat hunger, ignorance and poverty by empowering the Native population to share their natural environment and culture with others in the global community. This project will be part of the UN Millennium Development Goal 2015 strategic plan to wage a “War on Hunger, Ignorance, and Poverty” (WHIP). In order to facilitate the marketing of the Eco Tourism Project, The GreenI.tv, a global Internet media company is proposing to develop a CyberSafari Eco-Tourism Webcast program to promote these tours to these solar televillages in the rainforest or the beaches of the island Nation of Bermuda.
  • This presentation will provide a Green Framework and a pictorial overview in describing what a Solar Dome Televillage will constitute. This Plan can be replicated throughout the region to meet the 2015 goal of 1,000 Solar EcoTourism Dome Televillages located in interest venues throughout the world. This goal coincides with the UN Millennium Development 2015 goal to end hunger, ignorance and poverty..
  • The vision of the Ecotourism Global Initiative is to empower the Native population to build a sustainable future through ecotourism. The Ecotourism entrepreneurs will be the economic engine to end hunger, ignorance, and poverty in their communities and villages. The mission is to take advantage of the natural asset of the country and turn it into a business opportunity of the local entrepreneurs. .
  • The EcoDome can be located at a beach.
  • The Eco Dome Solar Televillage can be located in the rainforest.
  • The Solar Dome Televillage Concept Plan illustrates a 112 person or 70 person televillage community. This is a conceptual plan that one can design these domes according to the local landscape. The diameter of the domes is 20’ and it covers 375 square feet of space. Go to www.Intershelter.com for more details.
  • This Solar Televillage Empowerment Center was erected in 1991 in downtown Los Angeles to assist the homeless to develop skills necessary to become part of the local workforce. By all accounts, the Dome Village was a successful cost effective demonstration to help the homeless, but longer exist. .
  • After erecting several domes, these domes can be erected in 2 to 3 hours with 3 people.
  • These photos were taken in one of the domes in Los Angeles that shows the interior spaces used for an Ecommerce or an Elecrontronic school house where students were taught to use the computers. The bottom photos show a furnished dome with kitchen appliances and equipment..
  • These domes are compact and 15 dome unites can be shipped in a 20’ container and installed instantly. A 40’ container will accommodate 30 domes.
  • The Solar Televillage will include a central power Solar Energy & Battery Park that will be provided power to the village. The Energy Park will be part of the hands-on learning program for the students. This Energy Park is located in the city of Anaheim in California.
  • The Empowerment Center will include the following online and onsite education, training and entrepreneurial development activities.
  • These photos shows a clean water system powered with solar.
  • Every Cleantech Empowerment Center will have the ability to Webcast local programs on the Internet.
  • The Village portable greenhouse is a cost effective way to provide food for the villagers to avoid hunger. These model greenhouses can be deployed throughout the local villages and neighborhoods.
  • The Solar Televillage wastewater treatment facilities could be designed after the artificial marsh Waste Water Treatment System pioneered by NASA for the moon colony.
  • Electric transportation such as electric bicycles, utility vans and scooters can be used in these villages. Solar energy will be able to charge these vehicles.
  • The Online Education and training will use the platforms that Elearning Zoom has pioneered and integrated. Mass education is now being demassified to Online Learning. The ElearningZoom platform makes it easy for teachers to conduct online
  • The Perfect Economic Storm is converging all at once and is threatening our global economic system.
  • We are at the end of the Industrial Revolution and at the beginning of the Green Internet Revolution or the Third Wave as described by Alvin and Heidi Tofler, authors of “Future Shock” and “Creating a New Civilization.” Our economy is being demassified. No longer will mass media control our lives, it will be the Internet TV medium that will empower the grassroots to control their own economic destiny. We are living in the Age of Empowerment and Entrepreneurialism. We have the power of information at our fingertips. Just as Marco Polo opened the “Silk Road” to China to promote trade and cultural exchange, we are opening the “Silicon Superhighway” to the global village to conduct Ecommerce, Elearning, Emedicine, Telecommuting, telebanking, etc. The element silica has transformed the world…using it for computer chips and solar cells, thus the “Silicon Superhighway to the Global Solar Televillages.”.
  • You have more information at your finger tips than the president of IBM had five years ago. If information is power, you are living in the Age of Information and Empowerment. You can create a virtual corporation with over 300 virtual employees working for your company for free. It is matter of accessing the information from Google U.
  • The Ecotourism Global Solar Dome Televillage Initiative is to empower the Native population to control their own economic destiny by sharing their environment and culture with the world. Project Green Island Village Bermuda can be a model and showcase for the UNMDG 2015 to emulate for other poor countries. The War on Hunger, Ignorance and Poverty can be alleviated if we utilize the weapons of information and green technologies provided by access over the Internet. The under class people of the world are living in the Age of Empower and the Age of Entrepreneurialism. They must be given the tools to rebuild their communities from the ground up and create a sustainable future for generations to come.
