Abundant Peace Church (http://www.abundantpeacechurch.org/) in
Las Vegas, Nevada, was recently named coordinator of the Faith
Service for the National Equality March on Washington. The Abundant
Peace Church is a radically inclusive church and is a member of The
Fellowship Organization under the leadership of Bishop Yvette
Flunder, a renowned Faith Leader in the fight of Social Justice for all
(http://www.radicallyinclusive.net/content.cfm?id=2000).
Rev. Irene Monroe (http://www.irenemonroe.com/home/) is scheduled to be the

Rev. Wilfred Moore, Coordinator for the service says "It is important that the nation knows that
LGBT are people of faith too and that many of the world's Foremost Religious Leaders are
located in our communities". Rev. Moore is under the leadership of the noted Bishop, Rev. Dr.
Yvette Flunder and The Fellowship, a group of radically inclusive churches located thorough out
the United States and Africa.
On October 10-11, 2009, people from across the United States
will gather in Washington, D.C. to let our elected leaders know
that now is the time for equal rights for LGBT people. We have
had a moment thrust upon us by the election of President Barack
Obama with the spirit of hope and change, and by the sense of
entitlement in the new generation of grassroots organizations.
This march is a vehicle to a larger goal; bridging the gap between
national organizations and grassroots community organizers. All
will gather, strategize and march; thus leaving Washington, D.C.
energized and empowered to do the work that needs to be done
in every community across the nation.
