  • 1. CORRUPTION PERCEPTIONS INDEX 2013We all know corruption is a problem, but how bad is it? For the Corruption Perceptions Index 2013, we ranked 177 countries and territories around the world on their perceived levels of public sector corruption. Here are the results. Scoring less than 50 out of 100, almost 70 per cent of countries are perceived to have a serious corruption problem. No country achieves a perfect score. How corrupt is your country? How to read the infographic Countries and territories in the Corruption Perceptions Index are scored and ranked. The colour indicates the level of perceived corruption and the size of the circle shows the percentage of countries that fall within the score range. Countries are listed in order of rank going clockwise.
