Evaluation of the Level of Vegetation Suppression Using Remote Sensing Data

There are a lot of industrial objects on the teritory of Ukraine. Their activity substantially negatively influence on all of the components of the environment, including vegetation. Vegetable organisms don’t have the opportunity to move in space, thus, oppressing of their physiological state at unchanging technogenic influence has permanent character. Therefore, realization of control and monitoring of the state of vegetation is extremely important.

To date, effective tools of obtaining intelligent information used in the various social and economic spheres are space-based technologies. Using satellite images enables to carry out fundamental research in the field of optical properties of phytoelements, and to determine the condition of the green mass through the apparatus of vegetation indices. Meanwhile, it is possible to create a spatial models (on the macro-, meso- level) and to identify the presence and origin of stress factors. less
