MAXI-MIZER provides an answer to a world crisis: excessive emissions, fuel inefficiencies, aging vehicles/machinery, and a stressed-out military due to unreliable equipment. MAXI-MIZER will provide the world with the G8 Summit 2050 emission standards in 2010. It will increase the reliability and longevity of our military by an additional 50% in places such as Afghanistan and Iraq. By using MAXI-MIZER, high fuel consuming countries will be able to reduce emissions by more than 80%, reduce their carbon footprints, and lower their fuel consumption by more than 10% while eliminating various blends of diesel and gasoline such as: premium, mid-grade, and diesel 1; thus, causing international oil consumption to drop by more than 50%.

    • Transformational technologies are by definition technologies that disrupt the status quo. They are not merely better than current technologies, they are significantly better. Often, a technology is considered transformational when it so outperforms current approaches that it causes an industry to shift its technology base to the new technology.
    • The Nation needs transformational energy-related technologies to overcome the threats posed by climate change and energy security, arising from its reliance on traditional uses of fossil fuels and the dominant use of oil in transportation.

  • 19. Problems With Current Alternative Fuels:
    • Whenever additives are introduced into fuel, mpg is reduced, creating other problems with the stabilization of fuel.
    • All alternative fuels are costing us more to use with no benefits in return; remember MTBE.
    • Incomplete burning of fuel shortens the life of the machinery.
    • Increases the state and national budget deficit.
    • We are accelerating poor air quality with PM (particulate matters) that are creating respiratory problems at an alarming rate!

  • 21. History of the Solution… MAXI-MIZER!!!
    • Why MAXI-MIZER……..It Works!
    • The feature that separates MAXI-MIZER from the other fuel treatments on the market is the catalyst that’s available only in MAXI-MIZER.
    • By definition, a catalyst is “a substance that causes the speeding up of a chemical reaction while undergoing no permanent chemical change itself”.
    • The catalyst that today is used in MAXI-MIZER was first discovered by a group of Harvard University chemists, led by Jack Kracklauer in 1951.
    • Within 6 months of discovering this catalyst, a delay occurred.
    • Two years later, in 1953, they were awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for their discovery.
    • Over the next several years, research programs were conducted by various oil and chemical companies leading to product applications ranging from a candle additive to its use as a burn rate accelerator in solid rocket fuels to increase thrust.
  • 22. History to the Solution… MAXI-MIZER!!!
    • It wasn’t until 1971 that a Mr. Kracklauer applied the catalyst to diesel fuel in an attempt to reduce smoke emissions from trucks and heavy equipment.
    • The success of that initial test (more than 50% reduction in smoke emissions) lead to a landmark 12 year, 302 million mile study of the long term effects of MAXI-MIZER on diesel and gasoline powered equipment.
    • The catalyst is backed by the top 2 independent laboratories in the nation- Hauser Laboratory and Southwest Research Institute.
    • No claims against MAXI-MIZER since the inception of the product.
    • TWO PRIMARY PURPOSES FOR FORMULATING MAXI-MIZER:
    • - To significantly reduce fuel and oil consumption
    • - To allow machinery to be maintained at it’s highest efficiency level at all times.

  • 23. RESULTS OF MAXI-MIZER IN CITY OF ALEXANDRIA VEHICLES
    • Improved performance- bus drivers had to go to the back of their buses to physically touch them to see if they are still running.
    • All of the city buses are no longer expelling black smoke out of the exhaust pipes, even when they are taking off. This translates into less wasted fuel and less downtime.
    • Initially was servicing all buses at the end of the day at 110 gallons per night per vehicle. Fuel consumption dropped with the first application, along with the opacity reduction. Within 1 week, servicing went to 70 gallons, and at 5-6 weeks, it was down to 50-60 gallons per bus.
    • Temperature dropped 15-20 degrees (engine operating temp)
  • 24. RESULTS OF MAXI-MIZER FROM CITY OF ALEXANDRIA… CONT
    • Initially was using 4-6 cases of Lucas grease per month. After applying MAXI-MIZER grease, for the last 2 months, they are still using the same one (1 each) tube for the entire fleet.
    • Found no need to change bearings during brake replacement maintenance due to no wear noticed on the race bearing indicator. $125 per bearing per wheel.
    • In the rear ends, was initially using 2 gallons of Lucas with rear end oil. With MAXI-MIZER, use only 24 ounces.
    • Mileage went to improvements of 2-3 miles per gallon to 4-5 miles per gallon.
    • City buses maintained their mpg in the summer of 2007 with no breakdowns. Extreme heat index didn’t affect mileage or performance.
  • 25. RESULTS OF MAXI-MIZER FROM CITY OF ALEXANDRIA…CONT
    • In 3 years, they are still not experiencing any downtime due to lubrication failure or fuel related problem. Keep in mind, they are using ULSD fuel.
    • Reduced maintenance cost and downtime by over 50% and increase production by over 50%.
    • The city’s budget director was able to pull over $67k from the bus funds in order to offset the cost of rising fuel prices in the Public Works Division due to decrease maintenance spending.
    • Upon inspection of the internal part of the engine, the Superintendent of A-Trans, Mr. Pat Leaumount witnessed the lack of carbon deposits. All engines are at 400,000 miles.
    • The employee that orders the fuel for the bulk storage tanks noticed they were not ordering as much fuel the 2 nd week of applying MAXI-MIZER. She had no knowledge of the testing.
    • Minimize 44k usage from $12.95 per can per vehicle to $3.50 for 2 ounces of MXM.
    • Stopped smoking on a 7-month old vehicle in the Utility Dept. Ford couldn’t find a fault code for the problem.
  • 26. RESULTS OF MAXI-MIZER FROM CITY OF ALEXANDRIA
    • Fuel and oil consumption went down, significantly. Lucas products could not affect any of these results. A-Trans used only Lucas prior to MAXI-MIZER.
    • Sanitation and Street Departments begin applications of MAXI-MIZER and noticed the immediate reduction in fuel usage (5-7 gallons reduction per fill-up) on the first application of their various vehicles.
    • Both departments also noticed immediate improved vehicle performance, as well.
    • Over 90% of the Streets Dept fleet was treated with MXM and still have not experienced any downtime due to fuel or lubrication related problems, which is unusual. This created a $43,000 savings in a 30 day period.
    • Change oil intervals from every 3,000 to 8,000 miles.
    • Mayor informed the City Council on attesting that the products works after confirming it on the trolleys purchased by the City of Alexandria and used in the Mardi Gras Parade in 2009. Buses were smoking heavily prior to MAXI-MIZER application at 100k and 200k miles on each trolley. Not anymore!!!

    • Are There Other Applications That the Catalyst is Used In?
    • YES
    • The following, though the applications vary, use the same basic catalyst in varying compounds:
    • The U.S. Air Force uses it in solid-fuel rocket motors.
    • The U.S. government uses it to control emissions when recertifying a stationary jet engine.
    • Some power generator gas turbines (stationary jet engines) also use it to control emissions.
    • It is used in the northeast to effect fuel economy improvements in residential space heating equipment.
    • A manufacturer of solid fuel motors for model rockets uses it to improve performance and cost effectiveness.
  • 28. Who Manufactures The Product?
    • The manufacturing responsibility for this product is spread between several manufacturers so that the maximum degree of expertise and quality control can be utilized at each stage in the process.
    • The catalyst itself is manufactured by a billion-dollar-a-year company with nationally-recognized quality control capabilities since this portion of the manufacturing process is very complex and requires extremely close attention to manufacturing details.
    • The final mixing of the product is conducted by a firm with over 30 years of experience in the formulation and blending of performance chemicals.
    • Both of these entities will remain proprietary so as to protect their other manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • 29. Does The Product Have Liability Insurance?
    • Yes
    • The three MAXI-MIZER products are covered by a 3 million dollar product liability insurance policy.
    • During the 302 million miles of documented testing, not one claim of engine failure has been presented against MAXI-MIZER.
  • 30. How Long Has This Product Been Sold?
    • The product has been under development and scientific testing for the last 12 years prior to 1984, which is when the product was available to the public.
    • Eagle Marketing (formerly American Professional Marketing) has successfully negotiated the first opportunity to market these products.
    • The products have been offered on a limited basis to major truck fleets for test purposes.
    • This has resulted in the establishment of data on 302 million miles of over-the-road testing.
    • The actual truck fleets, for obvious reasons, will remain proprietary.
  • 31. What is in the product and how does each property work to produce results?
    • The combustion catalyst increases the rate of burning, which increases pressure on the piston, providing improved power.
    • ……… ..improves completeness of combustion, reducing excessive emissions.
    • ……… ..acts directly on carbon deposits by reducing the temperature at which they will burn. This allows normal combustion to gradually remove most, if not all, carbon deposits over a period of time.
    • ……… ..modifies the ignition behavior of the fuel, resulting in the anti-knocking benefits (reduced dieseling and pinging). The catalyst in the MAXI-MIZER formulation also increases the octane/cetane rating of the fuel.
    • The detergent helps remove and prevent deposits in the carburetor throat, fuel filter, pump and lines, improving performance and reducing emissions.
    • The dispersant maintains a small amount of gum and sludge, which is present in all commercially available fuel, in dispersion, and keeps it from agglomerating which can cause deposits and filter clogging.
  • 32. What is in the product and how does each property work to produce results? Cont….
    • The fuel stabilizing components reduce oxidation of the fuel, which can cause deterioration in combustion quality, and color drift, which indicates the formation of sediment or sludge.
    • Additional fuel stabilizing components also maintain moisture in solution in the fuel, thereby dramatically reducing rust which can clog filters and destroy fuel system components.
    • The carrier components in the MAXI-MIZER formulation improve the lubricating value of the fuel, improving fuel pump performance and lubrication in the top cylinder area.
    • A minute amount of methanol in the GASOLINE MAXI-MIZER formulation maintains water in solution, effectively preventing ice crystal formation and thereby reducing the risk of icing in both the fuel line and the carburetor.
  • 33. How Can So Little Produce Results?
    • MAXI-MIZER has been formulated to contain the most efficient and functional additives in each of the performance categories outlined above.
    • This highly concentrated formulation is indeed effective at extremely low use rates.
    • MAXI-MIZER improves the performance of internal combustion engines because it is formulated to directly address combustion inefficiency and fuel related problems at their source.

    • There are patents relating to certain aspects of the use of these products.
    • It is our strong conviction, however, that patents are more useful to the competition as a source for imitating effective products such as these than for protection of them.
