  • 2. For Neptune one year is 165 Earth years.
  • 3. Neptune has faded dark rings and it is 4 times as big as Earth.
  • 4. The average temperature is - 215 degrees Celsius.
  • 5. There are 13 moons and methane gas gives it the blue color.
  • 6. The surface is not solid. It is just thick clouds.
  • 7. The atmosphere is helium,hydrogen, water and silicates. It is the smallest gas giant.
  • 8. It takes 16 hours and 7 minutes to rotate.
