My Brazil is out of the 2010 FIFA World Cup, so I put together a "dreamy" (get it?) team instead. This way... we all win.
Here are the hottest players of the 2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup. In my humble opinion... and I'm very opinionated about this.

Hottest Players of the 2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup
1. This way, we all win. My FIFA World Cup 2010 dreamy team
2. Ricardo Kaka BIG surprise, right? It’s true, I’m a die-hard Brazil fan and I was rooting for this man and his team in every game. That is until Holland beat them… As a form of personal revenge, you won’t find any Dutch players on this slideshow. That’s right… I can hold a grudge.
3. Though he didn’t score a single goal, he assisted and played beautifully. He is also beautiful. Good coincidence.
4. PS: That card was uncalled for. But he was a surprisingly good sport. More points for him.
5. CescFàbregas He didn’t get much play time but he did score a goal. It’d be unfair to say he’s a young rising star because he’s well beyond that level. Injury and all, he’s done very well for Spain.
7. That’s Cescbeing smothered by his teammates for scoring a goal. But this is really just an excuse to see Gerard Piqué. I’ll get to him in a bit…
8. Diego Lugano Some people disagree but I like Diego Lugano. I’m not sure why. I like the way he defends… Also, you’re welcome for the abs peek ;)
9. Didier Drogba This man is raw talent that has somehow been tamed. But he’s the kind of tamed talent that makes you feel like it’s going to go wild on you unexpectedly. You can tell I’ve thought about this.
10. Gabriel Heinze Don’t tell me the way he dove in, spear-like, to hit that header and score against Nigeria didn’t make your day in more ways than one.
12. Gonzalo Higuaín He was on a roll for a while there -- Scoring goals, making his dad proud, and living up to his family name… I hate you Germany. I could’ve used a little more of “El PipitaHiguain” in this World Cup.
13. IkerCasillas My, my, my. Where to begin? Honestly?... I don’t even know how other players, including his own teammates, manage to take their eyes off Casillas.
16. IkerCasillas He is both a leader and a winner. If you’re not into that, then I can’t help you.
17. IkerCasillas Overall… there is just something about goalies that I love. I really hope it’s not me enjoying getting bossed around and yelled at…
18. Eduardo See? Told you I had a thing for goalies. Also… how cute was it when Eduardo cried when Portugal lost to Spain and Casillas went over to cheer him up? Adorable.
19. Thomas Sorensen Uh oh… another goalie. Maybe I DO have a thing for being bossed around and getting yelled at. Hmm… let’s try something…
20. Tim Howard Oh good. So it’s not all goalies. Props to Howard though. Great performance.
21. Diego Forlán I don’t really like Diego Forlán, but MY LORD those abs! And those free kicks! Welcome to this list, Diego Forlán’s abs.
22. Michael Ballack Even though he was mostly out with an injury, I don’t think I have to explain myself… Also, he is a FAR more respectable veteran than David Beckam (don’t look for him on this list).
23. Fernando Torres I feel I will anger a lot of people if I don’t put Torres on this list. I miss his long hair though…
24. See what I mean? He pulled it off so well. I also believe it was the source of his talent…
25. Sergio Ramos Here’s someone who knows he looks good with long hair and knows how to rock it. You’re looking at his hair right?
27. Robinho I’m going to choose to overlook the fact that he’s sucking his thumb. The man is talented and HAWT.
28. Thierry Henry Ok, so he stuck his hand in to qualify… but I’d like to see you pull a suit off like that.
29. Tiago Were you too busy checking out CristianoRonaldo (NOT on this list) to notice Tiago? You missed out.
30. Miguel Veloso Missed him too? You REALLY need to stop paying attention to Cristiano. Everyone should.
31. Xabi Alonso I just think he’s adorable. And manly. It’s the beard thing again.
32. Benny Feilhaber He has some Brazilian in him. That’s probably it. He didn’t really get to play in this World Cup… I got so excited every time the camera panned down the players on the bench.
33. Carlos Bocanegra I was so focused on Feilhaber that I refused to believe any other player on the U.S. team was worthy of my time. A friend pointed out my huge mistake. I will thank her forever.
34. Alvaro Pereira He is adorable, humble, and has the prettiest smile. Winner.
35. Even though I already gave away IkerCasillas… I did save the very best for last
37. Gerard Piqué Piqué is EASILY THE hottest player in the FIFA 2010 World Cup. Possibly also… the hottest man in the world.
38. Gerard Piqué He is an EXTREMELY talented soccer player. So focused. So good. Watch him in the final – his long passes are always RIGHT on target. He defends like his life depended on it. And it does.
39. Gerard Piqué Though I’m a sucker for soccer uniforms, this man looks extremely well off the field as well. POINTS!!! SO many points!
40. Any man who can bleed as much as he did this World Cup and still go into the field to play and win… I’m sold. Sign me up.
41. I’d like to personally thank Samuel Eto’o for trading shirts with Piqué and hanging on to it for that long.
42. Interestingly enough, most of the men on this list are on the Spanish national team. Had I filled out my brackets based solely on looks, I would be leading right now. ¡ SuerteEspaña! You proved me wrong on the whole “Brazil-will-win-this-World-Cup” thing and managed to do what few people can… get me to admit that I was wrong. So very wrong.
