So ... the first set of study skills are also life skills: good company; good diet; exercise; rest and sleep; music making;

Adam names the animals “ ... and that was it's name.” Iow: as Adam came to know each animal, he consolidated his learning with a name... ... we construct our own learning (eg language)

We build knowledge: adding new stuff to what we already know or think we know. Our study skills need to help us to make connections and put things together... and we have to take control of our learning to help it to happen.
