  • - In a global environment where marketing and PR reaches global penetration, people are expecting to consume the same things all over the world in the same time. If a movie goes up on the theatres in the US, people are expecting to see it in Europe in the same time.
    Hence people don’t want to wait to see the movie until the DVD release when the cinema is not an option.
    - E.g., 80 percent of file sharers are very satisfied with the quality of the movies available in the pirate networks.
