  • 2. What is magnetism ? Magnets are things that attract to iron fillings etc. Magnetism is the thing that is in magnets. Compasses have iron and steel, the compass always points to the north and to the south. Magnets have south pole and north pole. Magnetism has a magnetic field. tism Magne

What is electricity ? electricity Electricity is the flow of electrons.Electricity is generated at a power plant after that, it goes to the transformer station then, it goes to the transmission lines after that, it goes to the transformer station which decreases voltage then, it goes to the distribution lines and then go to your house.   • 4. How do magnets work ? magnets Magnets work when they are attracted to each other. Magnets work when you face the magnet north to south or south to north. Magnets don’t attract each other when it is north to north or south to south. Magnets work when the atoms are lined straight. Magnets are very useful when the cars are broken, the machine with the magnet will take the car up and keep it at the other side.
  • 5. How are electricity and magnetism connected ? Electricity and magnet are connected when you have a generator. Maglev train is also using electricity and magnet.

  • 7. Compass Compass is used to show which direction way you are going. Compass always point to the north and the south.
  • 8. Power plant Power plant is used to make electricity. This is a picture of a power plant and how it works
  • 9. Magnet Magnet is a thing that attracts to things like iron. Magnets are used in speakers and microphone, etc.
  • 10. Attract Attract means if two magnets are faced north to south it will stick together.
  • 11. Repel Repel means when the magnets are faced north to north it will repel.
  • 12. Lightning Lightning comes out when a storm is coming. Lightning always want to get to the ground quickly. Lightning will hit you when you are in a field and you are the tallest so you have to lay down to be the smallest on the field then the lightning will not hit you it will hit somewhere else.

  • 16. Transmission line Transmission lines carry electricity one place to another.
