  • Online Training offers real potential to increase the quality and speed of the instruction. The platform being developed by DOE not only supports standard online training such as Pdf, slides, audio and movies but also includes fully interactive and immersive environments in which students can perform simulated activities.
  • David A Sousa, How the Brain Learns. 2001 Average percentage of retention after 24 hours.
  • Online training offers a number of advantages: It allows many people to contribute and share which keeps the knowledge up-to-date. We can measure a students performance in a variety of ways without interupting the student. Games and simulations not only have a high level of learning transfer and retention but are also attractive to non-traditional students.
