Halloween is an American holiday. It is celebrated on “All Saints Day”. It comes from a native tradition, people disguised as souls, as witches, etc...

Natives used to disguise themselves so they would not be recognized by the evil souls.
They made fires so that the spirits left

The tradition of giving candies to children comes from many centuries ago. They used to sacrifice objects to the spirits to calm them.

Nowdays people light and carve pupkins and disguised children go from house to house asking for sweets and biscuits. “Trick or Treat” is what they say when somebody opens the door. If they don´t get what they want they throw eggs.
Teenagers celebrate it in the discos, drinking and dancing .
