This document provides an introduction to teaching fractions using technology integration in the classroom. It defines fractions and mixed numbers, and discusses how to simplify fractions and find the least common denominator. It recommends using tools like PowerPoint, SmartBoards, tablets, and projectors to engage students and teach fractions interactively through games, videos, and interactive displays. The goal is to incorporate multiple technologies to improve students' understanding of fractions in a fun, hands-on way.

• Interactive games are a great way to
learn how to simplify fraction
5. LEAST COMMON DENOMINATOR
The least common denominator is known as the lowest common multiple.
What is the least common denominator of
1 5
& =
6 12
Tablets can be used to integrate math
in the classroom as well
6. IMPROPER FRACTION
An improper fraction shows the numerator is bigger than the denominator.
8 3
= 1
