Government and educational system <ul><li>Primary education from 4 till 12 </li></ul><ul><li>Schools divided by religion (catholic, protestant, humanistic) </li></ul><ul><li>Lot of immigrants – schools with almost 100 pct non native children </li></ul><ul><li>Problem with integration into the Dutch society </li></ul><ul><li>Schools paid by government </li></ul>

Government and cultural heritage <ul><li>Till 2010 almost 32 million euro for teacher trainings colleges for heritage education and projects in the primary education </li></ul><ul><li>Goal: on every primary school a certified cultural coordinator for heritage and arts </li></ul><ul><li>Heritage integrated in school subjects (history, geography) </li></ul>

  • 16. Proposal <ul><li>Lessons for FACE IT based on aspects from multi perspectivity, the canon principal and Hanvey. </li></ul><ul><li>Can we come up with a number of global issues divided between tangible and intangible heritage? </li></ul>
