Marcus Pfister• Born on July 30, 1960 in Bern Switzerland.• He started out first as a graphic designer in Switzerland.• He moved to United Sates and started writing children’s books.• His first book was the Rainbow Fish.• What he likes to do in his free time is to take pictures of wildlife in the rainforest and play basketball.
Beginning• At the begging everyone is begging the rainbow fish for her to play with them. She thinks she’s better than everyone else so she won’t play. Soon everyone is fed up with how mean she is and doesn’t like the “special fish” anymore.
Middle• The rainbow fish goes around the sea to ask for advise. She finds a star fish and octopus that give her life lessons that it’s more important to be nice on the inside rather than appearances on the outside. The rainbow fish realizes she needs to be more unselfish and be nice to others.
End• Rainbow fish is generous and gives everyone one of her own special scales. She ends up with only one special scale and is happy because she knows that it’s good to be considerate of others. Now everyone is equal and ends up happy.• for more information about Marcus Pfister go to http://www.marcuspfister.ch/
