which NGOs are funded totally or partially by
governments, the NGO maintains its non-
governmental status insofar as it excludes
government representatives from membership in

heterogeneous group. A long list of acronyms has
developed around the term 'NGO'.
NATIONAL CADET CROPS(NCC)
The National Cadet Corps (India) is the Indian
military cadet corps. It is open to school and college
students on voluntary basis. The National Cadet
Corps in India is a voluntary organization which
recruits cadets from high schools and colleges. The
Cadets are given basic military training in small
arms and parades. The officers and cadets have no
liability for active military service. The motto of NCC
is "Unity and Discipline".
THE AIMS OF NCC
To develop qualities of Character, Courage,
Comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular
Outlook, Spirit of Adventure and the ideals of
Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the Country.
To Create a Human Resource of Organized,
