    Social Marketing is the application of commercial marketing technologies to the analysis, planning, execution and evaluation of programmers designed to influence voluntary behavior or target audience to improve their personal welfare and that of their society.
    Social marketing management encompasses brand building, loyalty, customer base and much more.
    Social marketing permits an online business to attract popularity among the online audience .
  • 3. What Social Marketing is
    • An approach that benefits the people who are adopting the behaviors or society as a whole, rather than the organization doing the marketing.
    • 4. An approach to influencing healthy behaviors and has roots in several behavior change theories familiar to public health.
  • Uses & Benefits of Social Marketing
    • 60 million consumers now use new media to share their health experiences online.
    • 5. Approximately 1,200 Facebook communities advocate for cures for chronic illnesses.
    • 6. 216 US hospitals use social media.
    • 7. 72% of e-patients search for medical information right before or after a doctor's visit.
    • 8. 93% of e-patients say the Internet has made it possible to get the medical information they need.
     
  • 9. Does not require specialization or vast technical skills
    • One of the best advantages of social marketing is that anyone can take advantage of it, even from their own home.
    • 10. Anyone who understands how to use the Internet can use social networking tools.
    • 11. Social Marketing is a set of techniques for generating publicity through social media, user groups and community websites such as Facebook, Bebo, MySpace etc.

    • Social marketing involves the same techniques of marketing but the goals are not profit,
    • 12. Social Marketing can benefit in the future include obesity, water security, malaria, environmentalism,
