How to search engine works?Search engines have two major functions - crawling & buildingan index, and providing answers by calculating relevancy &serving results.Web search engines work by storing information about manyweb pages. These pages are retrieved by a Web crawler(known as a spider) - an automated Web browser whichfollows every link on the site. Data about web pages are storedin an indexed database for use in later queries. A query can bea single word.
