Afternoon walk around the tea garden. Dinner and overnight. Day02: DIBRUGARH – ROING(162 km / 6 hrs)(2655m MSL) BLD Today we drive to Roing in Arunachal Pradesh. On the way cross river Lohit by ferry. On arrival check into aprivate guest house. Afternoon walk around the place. Dinner and overnight. Day03:ROING(2655 m MSL) BLD Day cycling around Roing visiting Idu Mishimi village.Idu Mishimi is the major tribe of thisarea. Dinner and overnight. Day04: ROING– PASIGHAT(100 km / 4 hrs+ river crossing) (152 m MSL) BLD Today after breakfast transfer to Pasighat. This day the road will be through villages, on river bed and with river crossings. On arrival check in to Hotel Anne. Dinner and overnight. Day05: PASIGHAT (152 m MSL) BLD Day at Pasighat cycling around villages. ‘Minyong’ is the major tribe of this region. After breakfast cycle to Ledum village, 32 km, through other smaller villages and paddy. Return to Pasighat by late afternoon. Dinner and overnight. Day06 : PASIGHAT– AALO(120 km) (681 m MSL) BLD Today isa long day for cycling. First 26 kmswill be with ascent with some small descents too. After the first part of 26 km you will be cycling upstream of river Siang flowing on your right. On the way you will be crossing few small settlements. Last 22 km will be easy ride beside a river. On arrival check into Hotel Toshi Palace. Dinner and overnight. Day at Aalo visiting Adi Gallong tribal villages. Adi Gallong is the major tribe of thisregion. Dinner and overnight.

Day10: TIRBIN – DAPORIJO(85 kms) (600m MSL) BLD After breakfast cycle to Daporijo. On arrival check into Ligu village guest house. Dinner and overnight. Day11: DAPORIJO (600m MSL) BLD Whole day at Daporijo visiting Nyishi villages around. Nyishi is the major tribe of thisarea. Dinner and overnight. Day12:DAPORIJO– RAGA(85 kms) BLD After breakfast cycle to Raga. In the beginning you will be cycling through Nyishi area and around Raga you will come across another tribe called Hill Miri, considered to be a sub tribe of Nyishi tribe. On arrival check into government guest house. Dinner and overnight. Day13 :RAGA– ZIRO(74 kms) (1687 m MSL) BLD After breakfast drive and cycle to Ziro. On arrival check into Hotel Blue Pine. Dinner and overnight. Day14: ZIRO (1687 m MSL) BLD Whole day in Ziro visiting Apatani tribal villages, which is the major tribe of this area. Ziro is a very interesting place surrounded by hills with dotted with Apatani villages, the only tribe of Ziro and paddy. Traditionally Apatani ladiesused to tattoo their facesand wear nose plug but now you can see only some old ladies with tattoo and nose plug. Cycle around some of the villages on the plateau. The single-storey bamboo houses are supported on stilts but now generally roofed with corrugated steel. As you get away from the main centre wooden or thatched roofs become commoner. The style in Ziro is for very small buildingspacked closely together. Visit the district museum which is small but very interesting collection. Dinner and overnight.

Day16: LAKHIMPUR– MAJULI (180 kms/ 5 hrs) (76 m MSL) BLD After breakfast cycle to the ferry point, 22 km, to cross the might river to Majuli Island Majuli isthe biggest fresh water island in India. Thisplace is thebiggest seat for Vaishnavite monasteries too. On arrival check into traditionally built tribal huts. Afternoon leisurely around the village. Dinner and overnight. Day17: MAJULI BLD After breakfast visit village by cycle inhabited by Mishing tribe, interact with the people. Lunch. PM visit a monastery and learn about the life style of monks.
